I don't have a lot of data on WRGPT II but this was posted by Ron Duursma
who wrote the software that runs the tourney.

WRGPT II took about 8.5 months to play (Oct 6, 1992 to June 21, 1993).

It had 132 players

It ran much slower than WRGPT3 for a couple of reasons; 
First, instead of redrawing after one table goes to five players, we would wait until ALL tables got down to five. 
The first round took six months to complete! 
Another reason was the 24-hour timeout, and the fact that antes/blinds were raised every ten hands instead of every two weeks.

WRGPT2 was won by Ed Baker whose K-3 beat Jeff Jennings' A-4 by catching trips on the river. 

Roy Hashimoto finished third.
